Good news for FC Bayern Women: Linda Dallmann has agreed a contract extension until 2026. The 28-year-old playmaker is looking forward to another three years in the Bayern Munich jersey: "The last three years have clearly shown me what I enjoy and where I still want to go. I still have a lot to do and we as FC Bayern have not yet reached our goal," said the Reds' number 10.
"String-puller with flair“
The Dinslaken native describes her role in the team as follows: "I think I'm the creative type who pulls the strings and provides a bit of flair. I see myself as a team player and a family-oriented person. That's why I think I'm a very good fit for FC Bayern," said Dallmann, who has been playing for FCB since 2019 and has already scored 40 goals in 104 competitive appearances since then.
Rech: "Incredibly good ideas on the pitch".
Especially this season, things have been going like clockwork for Dallmann, who has scored 11 goals and contributed five assists in 15 games. FC Bayern Women sporting director Bianca Rech is delighted with Dallmann's development: "Linda is an absolutely creative player, she always has incredibly good ideas on the pitch and is also very dangerous in front of goal. Her coach Alexander Straus gives her the necessary freedom, deploys her in a variety of ways, and Linda obviously enjoys that," says Rech.
"An important component in our squad planning"
The club and the player were in full agreement when it came to extending Dallman's contract: "For us, there was no question of whether we wanted to extend Linda's contract or not. She's shown what she's capable of, especially this season. She's enjoying an incredibly strong season and is an important factor in the team," Rech said, before adding: "Linda's extension until 2026 is an important component in our squad planning. We're delighted we were able to tie her to the club for such a long time."
Linda Dallmann joined FC Bayern from SGS Essen, just like striker Lea Schüller, who also recently extended her contract until 2026:
